In the story “The Movies That Rose From the Grave” author Max Brooks has it in his mind that Zombies has dominated mainstream horror for more than half a decade. Zombie are everywhere like in games, movies, books, comics there is also the new Broadway musical adaptation of Sam Raimi’s The Evil Dead. Max believes that zombies have replaced alpa-monsters like vampires and werewolves. When the living dead approached the media several years ago they were considered an obscure and was seen as an underground sub-genre. Now the rebirth is spectacular.
